Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are using SiteLedger on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
2. The service
SiteLedger is a subscription tool for recording and managing construction projects, costs, site records and reports. We may improve or change features over time, but we will not materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan during a paid period.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity of users you invite to your company workspace. Company administrators control who can access financial information.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT, which is added where chargeable. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Paid workspaces revert to the Free plan when a subscription ends; your data is retained. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and access continues until then. Part-periods are not refunded except where required by law.
6. Your data
You own the project content you enter. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that content in order to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload photographs, documents and personal data of workers or clients.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, attempt to access other companies' data, reverse engineer the platform, or upload unlawful or harmful content.
8. Availability
We aim for high availability but the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be kept to a minimum.
9. Records and professional responsibility
SiteLedger helps you record information such as waste transfer details, site diaries and costs. It does not provide legal, regulatory, health-and-safety or accounting advice, and you remain responsible for your statutory duties and records.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or contracts.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that are used unlawfully.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
